Plans and Procedures

14 September 2021

Dear Parents,
I hope you are all well and that the school year has gotten off to a good start for all of your kids. I am so excited about seeing/meeting them the week of Oct 3.

***Here some details for the beginning of our year.***

***All parents are required to complete the “Corona Information Form” here. Be sure to read, sign and submit at the end. ***

***Please be prompt at drop off and pick up time. I will be teaching classes back-to-back and want to maximize our time. My address is Hapnina 4, apt 1.
You need to buzz to enter the building. Please be as quiet and respectful to my neighbors as possible. The code is #0404. Upon entering the lobby, turn right and go down the stairs, our classroom will be in the door to your right.

***Supplies-Please make sure your child has a binder with dafdefet paper, 5 dividers, and 15 nylons.

***You will need to check homework on this website (still under construction). It will be posted the evening or morning after your child’s lesson.
Please send a water bottle with your child and do not send any food or snacks. We will do projects with food periodically, please let me know if your child has any food restrictions.
Always bring a sweatshirt as sometimes the AC can make the room really cold.

Corona and Zoom
***PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR child to class if he/she has any symptoms, didn’t go to school because of not feeling well or needs to be in bidud for any reason. We all need to do our absolute best to make sure we do not infect each other.
Kids will be required to wear masks during all lessons.
If 1 or 2 children from the same class are in bidud, I will try to teach a hybrid class with some in class and some at home. If that doesn’t work, I will decide on a case-by-case basis how class will be conducted. There are no make-up classes or refunds for missed classes due to illness or other reasons. If we find ourselves in “lockdown”, classes will continue on Zoom.
If I am sick or cannot teach, there will either be a substitute teacher or a make-up class (if I have used my sick days-see calendar for explanation).

Payments are due on the first of the month. I accept bit, Paybox or bank transfer to:
Tova Baichman Kass טובה ביצמן-קס
Bank Hapoalim, Snif 625
Acct # 541855

Your payment is based on 33 classes for the year, divided evenly over the 9 months of lessons, (October-June), minus your 200 shekel registration fee, which has been applied to your October payment. (That’s why you will pay the same every month, regardless of number of classes given that month.)
You will find the calendar for the year can be found here.

I am looking forward to a stimulating, nurturing and engaging year for all of my students!

Wishing us all good health and joy.
